Marina Kaptijn has been working with Jan Fabre since 1987. She started as a dancer in The Dance Sections. Later she danced and performed in performances such as Sweet Temptation, Universal Copyrights, The sound of one hand clapping, Je suis Sang and Mount Olympus.
Since 2005 she put her experience into coaching the new generation of dancers, including those of the solo performance Quando l’uomo principale è una donna.
Marina has been giving workshops on the work of Jan Fabre to dancers, performers, students and drama teachers. Besides her work as a member of the Jan Fabre teaching group, she is also a certified coach for dancers and teaches classical ballet, physical theatre and yoga.
